Personality:
Usagi is a very cheerful and outgoing girl, who makes friends wherever she goes. As cheerful as she is however, Usagi has a habit of sulking and acting like baby when she doesn’t get her way, not that she ever lingers on these feelings.
Usagi is talks to people her age in a very familiar manner, where the show is involved she will use a persons first name with the suffix of Chan or Kun, within SH it means she will always use a first name or a diminutive version of the name (IE: Jackie instead of Jacquelyn). She gives all the proper respect to adults, even if she has a habit of complaining about them.

She doesn’t like seeing people around her hurt and will do anything she can if she thinks they could be in danger. Including climbing up a building to get into a second storey window (Only to fall from it instead). She is so friendly that she has made numerous attempts to befriend her enemies in the show.

An average student, she is more than capable of getting good grades, however she is lazy and far too happy to waste time and have fun. There was an instance in the manga where, when faced with the reality that if she didn’t pass her exams she would be kept back a year and would no longer be in classes with her friends, Usagi got scores of around 70%.

Usagi dreams to be a bride, her favourite colour is pink, and she is way too excitable when it comes to food, or sleeping in. She is just a typical young girl.

Background (AU!Canon; HP):
Usagi was born in Japan, however moved to England 3 years later after her brother was born because her father who is an ‘on the spot’ reporter, was offered a job he felt would be a crime to refuse.

Due to growing up in Watford, Usagi learnt English fairly easily due to her amiable nature. However at best she has only basic conversational Japanese due to talking on the phone to her family in Japan. Once she received her letter into hogwarts everyone in her family was stunned, not only was Usagi a witch, but she also had been accepted into the premier wizarding school in Europe. No one would ever expect that.

Getting sorted was a very exciting moment for Usagi and she couldn’t wait to start using magic because it was all so very new and exciting. This was until she found out that she didn’t have the strongest concentration to make most of her magic work, causing a lot of it to either straight up not work, or it would just go wrong in the strangest ways. Due to this, potions is her weakest subject and everyone gets antsy when she’s holding a broom because she’s also an erratic flyer.

Her strongest subject however is transfiguration, she might not get the highest marks for her year, but it’s one subject she just seems to click with the most. Her second best class is chanting. In her first year.

Usagi’s parents bought her a cat from Diagon alley (Much to her brothers displeasure). What they weren’t aware of however the little black cat with the charming little crescent scar on it’s forehead was half kneazle. Which has only worked to Usagi’s parents benefit, as it spends most of it’s time making sure Usagi does her homework and yowling at her when she whines over nothing.

As Usagi gets to third year, she manages to get a better control over her magic. She’s still bad at it, but at least it actually works when she does it now as she’s slowly managing to get a handle on her concentration a little.

How would your character fit into each House?

Gryffindor: Usagi can be very brave and courageous when she needs to be, however it is only when she feels the situation calls for it. As I’m taking into account that she will never really become sailor moon. There wouldn’t be a regular need for her to be on the spot brave. That doesn’t mean however that if put in amongst other Gryffindors she would possibly develop into a brave and mature young woman
Hufflepuff: This is possibly the best house for Usagi. She is unfalteringly loyal to her friends and family and as stated above will put herself in danger for them, almost always putting their needs above her own. And when given a task that’s important she will work hard until it is completed. She might not exhibit a lot of patience as she gets huffy or sulky with things. When it comes to people she will give them the benefit of the doubt more often than not. She understands that not everyone is the same, but no matter what peoples differences are, Usgai will always treat them with unfaltering kindness. Even if that person has never treated her kindly, she will still do what she can for them.
Ravenclaw: Usagi is neither very smart or all that witty. That isn’t to say she doesn’t have her moments, however it’s nowhere near often enough for her to be put into this house.
Slytherin: This house would never be a good fit for Usagi. While she does have drive to do things, she is not very sly, has almost no cunning and could never do “Whatever it takes” to get the job done.

How come I have detantion for screaming in class!! Its not like Im the only one who finds the class creepy am I? With the skelinton skelingtin skeleton of who knows what hanging from the roof and talking about scary things all the time. of course Im going to get so scared that someone trying to get my attention from behind is going to make me scream.  (ಥnಥ) 

And I really really wanted to read the new comics my family sent me too  ♥

Third Person Sample:

As usual, Usagi had slept in. But it was a weekend so it's not like it was important that she slept in with a stretch and a big yawn she slipped out of her bed, gave Luna a good morning pat, which Luna leant into lazily -she was as much of a morning person as Usagi was on weekends-, then after bundling up some close she went to have her self a shower.

Once she was dressed she halfheartedly made her bed then almost skipped down and out of the common room and down towards the great hall for breakfast. Once she got there she noticed that even for so late in the morning there weren't as many students in the great hall eating or enjoying their friends company. What's more she noticed that there were no other third years around, which she did think was strange.

She sat at her house table and at her scrambled eggs on toast as she looks around and tries to mull over why it was so quiet for a Saturday. Then it hit her. She tried to get out of her seat quickly, however she forgot she was on a bench and promptly fell over backwards.
After letting an undignified squawk out she flailed her arms while lying on the ground.

"IT'S THE FIRST HOGSMEAD WEEKEND!"

She scrambled up and went running around desperately looking around for a teacher.

"Oh no! Oh no! PLEASE don't tell me I've missed out on going to my first weekend away from here!'

Usagi squealed as she went to to sob for a teacher to let her go.
